Update on easing of lockdown provisions within the jurisdiction of Looe Harbour Commissioners

LHC staff have been working on a lockdown exit strategy to ensure that the majority of Harbour facilities can be re-opened to the public at the earliest opportunity.

Millpool Slipway
We are pleased to advise that measures have been implemented, which will allow the Millpool slipway to be opened for public use on Monday 18th May 2020 at 1300 hrs.
To comply with Government Guidelines on social distancing, the slipway and associated launching area will be opened daily, on a ‘restricted hour’ basis, with a member of LHC staff present at all times.
A ‘one way’ queuing system will be implemented, which will allow us to keep both our staff and our stakeholders safe.
The times that the slip will be open, will be advertised on site and also on the Harbour website.
Any queries should be directed to the Slip Master (07483 411 579) within the opening hours advertised.
Our staff will do their best to ensure that the launching and recovery of vessels is done with minimum inconvenience to our stakeholders and request your co-operation and patience during this very difficult time.
Please note: LHC reserve the right to refuse entry into the launching compound, of any stakeholder who refuses to comply with launching/recovery procedures currently in place.

LHC Car Parks
Please note:
Pay and Display car park charges will be reinstated from 8am on Monday morning (18th May 2020).
Permit Holders are asked to telephone the Harbour office (01503 262839 Ext 2) to arrange for collection of their new permits at their earliest convenience.

Social distancing remains a key factor with regards to this easement of lockdown and stakeholders are urged to refresh their understanding of advice given on the Government website.
