The Sardine Factory
The Old Sardine Factory building re-opened in July 2018, after a £1.7 million restoration project.
The vision was to breathe new life into this derelict Grade 2 listed building and to ensure its future as a vibrant asset to visitors and the community in Looe. With a Heritage Centre, Café and Restaurant in the building, we invite you to treat yourself to a day out in West Looe.

The Heritage Centre & Coffee Shop opens for the 2024 Season on Saturday 23rd March!
With an exciting Menu, we are offering locally sourced produce at reasonable prices. Why not try an exquisite crab sandwich, seafood cocktail or delicious locally baked cakes!
Or simply sit outside with a quality hot beverage and watch the world go by.
Now fully Licensed, why not enjoy a prosecco with your cream tea or a cider with your sandwich. (Please note alcohol must be served with food)
